Comparison Request Am i missing anything with the Sennheiser ie80 compared to the Sony mdr 7550? I strongly suggest checking the basshead mod on MDR7550/EX800ST on head-Fi if you are to mod these! It's really cheap, just gonna cost you a roll of masking tape, or free if you have it at hand already. (EX1000) and was fine living with it as. It is named Sony MDR-EX800ST in Japan and Sony MDR-7550 in USA and the rest of the world. Despite the very different naming they are the same earphone. SONY MDR-EX800ST/ Sony MDR-7550 VS..
Dunu DN-1000
Dinue A73
VSONIC GR07 Bass Edition
I am looking for earphones that are 'All genre monsters'..
My favorite signature to date are the Dunu DN-1000..even more so than the DN-2000.
I listen to older jazz, metal, classical, dub, blues hip hop..everything but country..
Any and all suggestions/comparisons are greatly appreciated..

I have read a lot about both IEMs and am unsure which one to get. I currently have the Sony XBA-N3 and want some improvement in highs and soundstage.
Which would you choose between the Z5 and the EX1000 and why? So far my understanding is that the EX1000 is brighter and more reference. I have also read that the Z5 might have recessed mids and a bit better isolation. Since both have a vented design, I am ware neither will provide as good isolation as the N3. I like the N3 a lot but sometimes would like for it to be brighter with clearer highs. It seems like it is missing some sparkle!
